Safeguarding - Wellbeing and Protection Reporting Forms

It is important to make an accurate record of what the child, young person, or adult said as soon as possible after the disclosure.  

Where the Police or other statutory services are involved, Gillian Strathearn, basketballscotland's Safeguarding Lead should be informed as soon as possible (gillian.strathearn@basketball.scot / 07522 547074).

A copy of the form should also be sent to safeguarding@basketball.scot within 24 hours.

Remember to maintain confidentiality and only discuss the information on a need-to-know basis.

If you are in any doubt over what to do: report it.
