Basketball Scotland is recruiting a new Workforce Education & Development Manager to lead the development of the people who deliver our sport across Scotland. As basketball continues to grow, we want to ensure coaches, officials, tutors, educators and volunteers have access to high-quality learning, development opportunities and clear pathways to progress. The new role will provide dedicated leadership for workforce education and development, leading our national approach to coach and official education, learning programmes and workforce pathways. A key focus will be modernising how learning is designed and delivered, strengthening continuous professional development and making greater use of digital and blended learning. The role will also work closely with clubs, regional associations and national and international partners. Basketball experience is not essential. We welcome applications from people with relevant experience across sport, education, learning, workforce development and other sectors who share our commitment to developing people and creating positive experiences through sport.
