New Club Application Form

If you wish to affiliate your club with Basketball Scotland, please fill in the form below and email membership@basketball.scot so they can support you through the process.

Sign up for Basketball Scotland membership if don’t already have one Login - JustGo for help with membership please see our membership page Membership FAQs
Fill in the new club query form
Contact membership@basketball.scot who can take you through the next steps
If your club will have any members under 18 you must apply for a PVG (even if you already have one through another organisation)
- Please fill in the application form here
- Send the completed form to pvg@basketball.scot
- Look out for an email from Disclosure Scotland and click on the link to complete the application
- You will need 2 forms of ID
- You will receive another email from Disclosure Scotland once your application is completed. You must then log into your ScotAccount and press the ‘Share’ button so we can then add it to our system.If any of these steps are missed your application cannot be completed and you may need to start again.You will also need to sign up for a CWPS course EventsAndBookings - JustGo or Child Wellbeing and Protection in Sport Course listings - sportscotland the national agency for sport in Scotland
If your club does not have any members under 18, or once the PVG has been confirmed, the club will be created on the JustGo system ready to be affiliated.

Required Documents

The documents required for affiliation will depend on what type of club being affiliated. Clubs who have members under the age of 18 must adhere to the current safeguarding policies. more details can be found on the safeguarding page Safeguarding - Wellbeing and Protection
