LEVEL 1

This is an introduction to Table Officiating where candidates will learn the basic elements of being a Table Official which will include the Principles of the game, Scoring and Timekeeping.

TO ACHIEVE YOUR AWARD, YOU NEED TO…

1. Complete/pass Scorekeeper quiz on p12 of the course.
2. Complete the Scoresheet test on p24 of the course.
3. Complete/pass Timer quiz on p25 of the course.

Once all of these are completed and passed, your Level 1 Table Official Certificate will be sent out and added to your basketballscotland membership profile.

LEVEL 2

This course has now been reviewed and updated in line with the current requirements for table officials. Those who wish to gain their Level 2 will be expected to attend and complete all of the following;

1. A 2 hour online course
2. An online test
3. Receive feedback and sign off from a higher level Table Official on 4 occasions during games. This sign off process will require the new level 2 to carry out each of the different roles of the table.
