LEVEL 1 TABLE OFFICIAL

Level 1 is an introduction to Table Officiating. Candidates will learn the core elements of the role, including the principles of the game, scoring and timekeeping.

Requirements

Applicants must be aged 12 or over.

To achieve your award, you must

Complete and pass the Scorekeeper quiz on page 12 of the course
Complete the Scoresheet test on page 24 of the course
Complete and pass the Timer quiz on page 25 of the course

Once all components are successfully completed, your Level 1 Table Official Certificate will be issued and added to your basketballscotland membership profile.

LEVEL 2 TABLE OFFICIAL

The Level 2 course has been reviewed and updated in line with current requirements for table officials.

To achieve Level 2, candidates must:

Be aged 16 or over
Attend a two hour online course
Pass an online assessment
Receive feedback and sign off from a higher level Table Official on four occasions during games

The sign off process requires candidates to undertake each of the different table roles.
