Basketball Scotland is Recruiting Two CashBack Community Coaches

Basketball Scotland
5 October 2026

Basketball Scotland is recruiting two CashBack Community Coaches to deliver basketball and community activity for young people across Glasgow’s East End.

The roles will support Basketball Scotland’s work through the CashBack for Communities programme, using the power of sport to engage young people aged 8-18, build confidence, create positive experiences and support their physical and mental wellbeing.

Based across school and community sites, the CashBack Community Coaches will deliver fun, inclusive basketball sessions and create safe, supportive environments where young people can thrive. They will also support young people to develop leadership skills and pathways into coaching, refereeing and table officiating.

Working as part of Basketball Scotland’s Social Impact team, the coaches will collaborate with partners including SAMH and Active Schools to support wellbeing activity, community events and basketball opportunities.

This is an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the local community, using sport to engage young people and create positive opportunities for those who may face barriers to participation.
